This year’s awards were dominated by two stand-out players, the three awards each received indicative of their ongoing success.
Munich Re once again found itself charging ahead of the pack, scooping three of the top five awards in the Reinsurance categories. It secured poll position within the Best Property Reinsurer, Best Casualty/Liability Reinsurer and Best Specialty Reinsurer categories. SCOR also fared well, securing Best Life Reinsurer.
Following its successful merger a few years back, Aon Benfield has gone from strength to the strength, this time landing three out of four of the prizes in the Reinsurance Brokers categories, namely: Best European Reinsurance Broker, Best Property Reinsurance Broker and Best Casualty Reinsurance Broker. Willis, for its part, secured Best Specialty Lines Reinsurance Broker.
