ABI makes four Board appointments
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has made four new Board appointments.
Joining the Board will be Anthony Baldwin, chief executive officer (CEO) and Board director, AIG Europe and CEO, AIG UK, along with Antonio Lorenzo, CEO, Scottish Widows and group director, insurance, Lloyds Banking Group.
Vibhu Sharma, CEO, UK general insurance, Zurich, and UK country head and Julian Adams, group regulatory and government relations director, Prudential, make up the new Board appointments.
Paul Evans, ABI chairman, and Group CEO, AXA UK, said: "I’m delighted to welcome Anthony, Antonio, Vibhu and Julian to the Board. Their appointments will bring both a great deal of expertise and a set of fresh perspectives to the wide range of topics on which the ABI dedicates its focus."
