ACE launches global casualty division

Insurer ACE has launched a new division that consolidates its US and global casualty offerings to create ACE risk management global casualty.

The insurer said that the division combines two established divisions within ACE USA — ACE risk management and ACE foreign casualty — to provide a single source for specialised products and improved alignment among underwriting, claims, actuarial, legal, credit and other services that support domestic and global casualty products.

Matt Merna will lead this expanded team of professionals as division president. Previously, Merna served as division president of ACE risk management. Merna will continue to report to Chris Maleno, division president of ACE USA.
