AEGIS lures Howden exec

Lloyd’s syndicate AEGIS London has appointed Dan Rouse as casualty underwriter.

He will join the established team of London-based underwriters writing an international book of business, excluding US-domiciled risks, in a range of industries.

He will report to Chris Terry, AEGIS London’s head of international casualty and will be responsible for developing develop new products in the casualty sector to assist brokers and further promote the AEGIS London service offering.

Rouse joins from Howden, where he served as director of general liability for the past four years.

Terry said: “Dan brings an enormous amount of market knowledge and experience to our team. His arrival helps us to be even better placed to work collaboratively with all of our London brokers and global clients.”
