AJG appoints non-exec director
Arthur J Gallagher, the global insurance broker, has appointed John Coldman as a non-executive director (NED).
Coldman will also sit on both the Remuneration & Nominations Committee and Audit Committee for the UK business. His appointment is in addition to his position on the board of directors of Arthur J Gallagher, which he assumed in November 2014.
Having previously served as chairman of The Benfield Group, Brit Insurance and Omega Insurance — as well as deputy chairman and a member of the Council of Lloyd’s — Coldman has more than 45 years of insurance broking, management and financial services experience.
His appointment also completes the non-executive director line-up of Arthur J Gallagher Holdings (UK), led by non-executive chairman Sue Langley, joining fellow NEDs Jamie Drummond-Smith, Trevor Newbery and Lady Louise Patten.
