AJG strengthens UK MGA division

Arthur J. Gallagher has strengthened its UK MGA division with the appointment of a sales director.

Simon Taylor joins from The Clear Group, where he served as executive director. The role has been newly created to span the 10 MGAs coming together under the new collective brand of Pen Underwriting and support the business in delivering on its ambitious plans for growth.

He will be responsible for devising and implementing a cross-divisional sales strategy and ensuring all retail broking partners fully understand and have access to the spectrum of specialisms on offer from across the underwriting businesses.
