Allianz appoints regional CEO
Allianz Deutschland AG has appointed a new CEO to oversee Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Manfred Knof, who is also the member of the management board responsible for operations, will succeed Bruce Bowers.
Bowers will leave Allianz but remain available as senior advisor.
Knof will be succeeded by Andree Moschner, current CEO of Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs-AG and the member of the management board responsible for Sales. Moschner will continue to be responsible for Allianz Banking.
Joachim Müller will become the new CEO of Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs-AG and will also be responsible for sales on the Allianz Deutschland AG board.
Knof, Solmaz Altin, CEO of Allianz Sigorta AS, Robert Franssen, CEO of Allianz Benelux, Doug Hodge, CEO of PIMCO, and Severin Moser, CEO of Allianz Suisse, will join the International Executive Committee (IEC). Mohamed El-Erian will remain on the IEC as announced in January.
