Allianz CFO to chair Insurance Europe committee

Dieter Wemmer, the chief financial officer of Allianz Group, has been elected chairman of the economic & finance (EcoFin) committee of Insurance Europe.

Insurance Europe is the insurance association of Europe and the EcoFin committee oversees its work on regulatory, accounting and investment-related issues.

“Allianz is pleased to further deepen the engagement and cooperation with Europe’s leading industry association, especially against the background of a continuously challenging regulatory agenda and economic environment,” said Allianz.
