Antares introduces casualty treaty offering
Antares, part of Qatar Insurance Group, has launched a casualty treaty offering with the appointment of Neil Jarman as casualty treaty manager.
Jarman will be responsible for the development of Antares’ new casualty treaty business and for recruiting a team to support the realisation of Antares’ ambitions for this class.
He will report to Kieran Oliver, non-marine underwriting manager at Antares.
Jarman has over 13 year of experience in the industry, having most recently served as senior casualty underwriter for Everest Re.
Joe Battle, active underwriter at Antares, said: “The casualty treaty sector is one in which we have identified clear scope for expansion and which will also add further diversification to our business.
“Neil has a proven track record and has established himself as a clear leader in this class. I am very pleased to welcome him to Antares and look forward to the swift growth of our new offering under his management.”
Jarman added: “Antares has gone from strength to strength in recent years and there is a clear direction and strategy to drive the business forward. It is an exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to supporting this growth and developing the new casualty treaty offering.”
