ANV Group poaches AIG man for Syndicate 5820

ANV Group has appointed Bruce Whitmee as Active Underwriter for the company’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 5820, which covers consumer products, US property & casualty and political & credit risks.

He joins from AIG where he worked from 2002 to 2015 holding a number of regional management warranty and affinity positions in EMEA, Australasia, UK & Ireland and Central & Eastern Europe. He also formerly had management responsibility for AIG’s personal property business in Europe.

Whitmee will report to ANV Syndicates’ director of underwriting Gerard van Loon, who has been acting Active Underwriter for syndicate 5820 since August 2014.
