Aqua Underwriting appoints executive director

Insurer Aqua Underwriting has appointed Scott Brown as executive director in the commercial division. He will contribute to the division’s growth by developing new products for distribution through specialist UK brokers.

Brown has extensive experience of the commercial insurance market and most recently was chief executive officer of commercial lines & bespoke underwriting at Towergate Partnership.

Before this Brown was managing director of Fusion Insurance Services, which specialises in risk management-led SME propositions for commercial brokers.

We are already growing strongly in the UK private insurance sector and are seeing similar success with our recent international product launches in terrorism, Caribbean property and marine. Scott’s experience and product development expertise will allow us to put greater focus on new products for the UK commercial sector.”
