Argo appoints space risks underwriter from Allianz

ArgoGlobal Assurances, Argo International’s Paris-based underwriting platform, has appointed Édouard Merlet, formerly of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, as space risks underwriter.

He takes up his role with immediate effect.

Merlet began his career at EADS Astrium where he focused on space project risk analysis and the implementation of risk management solutions.

He joined AGCS in 2009, where he underwrote a broad spectrum of aviation risks, including airlines, aerospace manufacturers and related service providers.
