Argo strengthens marine team

Lloyd’s insurer Argo International has appointed Andreas Mueller as class underwriter of its marine liability account in London.

He takes up his position with immediate effect and will report to head of marine and energy, Philip Thorpe-Apps.

Mueller joins from ATLAS (Acis Transport Liability Agency) where he served as head of market development and underwriting, tasked with the diversification of its business lines and strategy development.

Prior to this, he spent three years at Starr Underwriting Agency where, as senior marine liability underwriter, he was responsible for the significant expansion of the account.
