Association of Claim Professionals elects five officers and directors

The International Association of Claim Professionals (IACP), a body for insurance claims executives, announced five of its key officers and directors for a one-year term.

IACP has appointed Edward Quinn Jr. as president, Fredrick Gindraux as vice president, Thomas Joyce as treasurer, Alex Sardina as secretary and Peter Fennell as immediate past president.

Quinn is currently serving as CEO of Rockville Risk Management Associates, Gindraux is senior claims manager and senior vice president of claims and liabilities at Swiss Re America Holding Corporation.

Sardina is an executive claims officer of Markel North America and Fennell is a managing director of Aon Benfield.

The newest members joining the Board of Directors with a term expiring in 2019 are Scott Kellers, head of syndicate claims/deputy head of Liberty Specialty Markets Group Claims, Liberty Specialty Markets and Greg Myers, head of claims quality review at Aspen Insurance.

Mike Barry, head of claims short tail and energy for Brit Insurance and James Parker, chief claims officer for AXIS Re will serve as associate board members for a term of one year.

David Abbott, partner and co-head of Clyde & Co’s global reinsurance practice and a lead member of the specialty insurance practice will serve as IACP general counsel, alongside IACP executive administrator, Susan Barros, president of The Beaumont Group and Catherine Kalaydjian, IACP executive director of corporate development.
