Atlas appoints finance and compliance SVP

Atlas Insurance Management (Atlas), a US-based captive insurance management firm, has appointed Steve Coffield as senior vice president (SVP), finance and compliance. In this role, Coffield is responsible for the key areas of treasury management; corporate finance and tax; financial systems and controls; corporate secretarial; statutory, regulatory and legal compliance; risk management; human resources; and information technology. Most recently, Coffield worked with an industrial supply company with $23 million in revenue as a chief financial officer (CFO) consultant.  He also worked as executive vice president/CFO for American Broadband Communications, where he successfully closed a $220 million refinancing of the company from 2009 until 2013.
