AXA Insurance has appointed Kim Pearce to the role of claims customer services director as part of its ongoing claims transformation programme.
Pearce will be responsible for the operational management of mass motor claims and mass property and lifestyle claims, and will report to Chris Voller, claims director at AXA Insurance.
This follows the appointment of Martin Ashfield as claim technical director in February, as part of AXA’s programme to further digitise its claims process.
Pearce most recently served as head of organisational management at Allianz.
Prior to this, she had held a number of senior roles at RSA, including head of More Than and personal lines broker.
The claims transformation programme has seen the introduction of AXA’s claims tracking tool eServe, Faster Payments, allowing settled claims to be paid instantly into customer bank accounts and Intercept, a digital tool delivering settlement for total loss motor claims.
