Axis Re granted license to establish Dubai office

AXIS Re, the subsidiary of re/insurer AXIS Capital Holdings, has been granted a license by the Dubai Financial Services Authority to establish a representative office in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

The AXIS Re Dubai representative office will focus on marketing accident and health specialty reinsurance in the Middle East and Africa.

AXIS Re is a composite reinsurance company headquartered in Ireland, which is authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland to carry on non-life and life reinsurance business.
