Barbican Managing Agency MD departs

Ken Curtis, the managing director of Barbican Managing Agency and Stuart Quinlan, head of specialty, have departed from the company.

Intelligent Insurer can reveal that David Reeves, the chief executive officer of Barbican Insurance, will replace Curtis.

Curtis, who has been at Barbican managing agency since 2013, previously served as chief financial officer of Chaucer Syndicates.

Quinlan has served as specialty head since 2012. Before this, he served as chief underwriting officer for professional indemnity in Europe for Zurich Financial Services.
