Barclays appoints leadership for UK insurance

Barclays Corporate Banking has appointed James Morris as leader and Dan Broome as deputy for its UK insurance coverage group.

The team is responsible for banking relationships in the London and broader UK markets.

It is also responsible for collaborating with Barclays geographic footprint across the US, Europe, Africa and Asia, and also works in close partnership with Investment Banking and Barclaycard.

Morris transfers to insurance after serving as head of Barclays’ Asia Multinational corporate desk for the past five years and following roles as a global relationship director and in Barclays group strategy.

Broome returns to the London and European markets after spending the last three years on Barclays’ New York-based US insurance coverage desk.
