BHSI poaches Zurich exec

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has appointed Martin Andrejko as head of contractors’ professional liability insurance in the US and Canada.

Andrejko joins from Zurich North America, where he served as national underwriting director. Before that, he served as senior underwriter at XL Design Professional.

Contractors’ professional liability insurance is the latest addition to BHSI’s expanding line of products for the contracting industry.

Bill Sullivan, head of construction at BHSI, said: “We are pleased to add Marty’s expertise to our team to lead our entrance into the contractors’ professional liability arena. His appointment marks an important next step in the steady expansion of both our casualty construction team and appetite in the US and Canada.”
