Bishopsgate hires energy specialists from NMB
Lloyd's broker Bishopsgate, the London market business of Towergate Insurance, has appointed Robin Todd and Darren Conlon as energy directors.
Todd has joined Bishopsgate from NMB, having started his career as a Lloyd’s broker, from there moving into a number of key underwriting roles, including as the active underwriter for syndicate 483.
Conlon, who also moves to Bishopsgate from NMB, has worked in the Lloyd’s market for more than 25 years.
Bishopsgate managing director Neil Pearce said that bringing in new talent in new areas to build on the business’s existing expertise was crucial to the company’s continuing development.
"We’ve got a team with formidable collective experience that are in high demand, and we’re looking forward to taking that to the next level and growing the team further," Pearce said.
"We’re very excited to welcome Robin and Darren as part of that expansion – they are two hugely experienced experts who will play a key role in driving our success in specialist classes."
