William Pollett, the chief executive officer (CEO) and president of investment manager Blue Capital Management, has resigned.
Pollett has also stepped down from all of his executive positions and directorships at Montpelier Re and its subsidiaries.
The move follows Montpelier Re’s merger with Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty.
Adam Szakmary succeeds him as CEO and portfolio manager of the investment manager. Szakmary has been portfolio manager at the company since it launched in November 2012.
Pollett has served at Montpelier Re since 2006, and previously held the roles of chief corporate development and strategy officer, treasurer and senior vice president.
