Bluefin hires underwriter from Arista

UK broker Bluefin has appointed Sian Rolfe as underwriting product manager.

Rolfe, who will report to head of underwriting Paul Drake, will oversee the development and maintenance of a range of products.

She joins from Arista where she was a senior underwriter with responsibility for managing the existing product set as well as researching and developing new products. Prior to this she was a business account executive at NIG Insurance where she was responsible for onsite underwriting.

Drake said: “Sian’s experience and knowledge will be incredibly beneficial as we ready our underwriting business for operation and build a competitive market proposition beyond that. She will bring more discipline and focus to Bluefin’s product development in support of that ambition and I look forward to working with her as we grow the team and prepare for launch.”
