Bluefin names sales manager for private client division

Mike Millard has joined Bluefin’s private client division (PCD) as sales manager, private clients.

He will report into Steve Hook, the newly promoted managing director of personal lines.

Millard has over twenty five years experience working in the insurance industry in the UK and abroad, including a spell as divisional director at Towergate. He has most recently been involved in a distribution, sales and marketing consultancy for brokers and insurers specialising in niche product and branded affinity markets.

“I’m very excited to join Bluefin’s highly commended private client division,” said Millard. “Their reputation for service in the market is what has attracted me to this opportunity and I hope to use my many years of experience to help maintain and improve Bluefin’s PCD offering.”

Hook added: “Mike’s primary role is to continue the successful development of PCD’s new business activities. With his vast experience and contacts, he will help consolidate best practice across the whole of personal lines and support the branch managers to assist in the organic growth of the business.
