Capsicum DA names former Xact Risk Solutions exec as director

Capsicum Delegated Authority (Capsicum DA), a specialist binding authority broker, has appointed Paul Godfrey as its director.

Godfrey will report to managing director of the UK office, Donald Alcorn, and will be based in London. He will be responsible for growing Capsicum DA’s offering across the UK.

Godfrey has over 20 years of industry experience, specialising in binding authorities across multiple lines of business, particularly within UK commercial property and casualty through online trading platforms.

Prior to Capsicum DA, Godfrey has worked with Lloyd’s Xact Risk Solutions and before this; he spent seven years working with specialist leisure and entertainment broker Apex Insurance Services.

He started his career at Stafford Knight & Co and has also worked for ESR Insurance Services.
