Cathedral takes on VIPR for bordereaux system

Cathedral Underwriting, a Lloyd’s managing agent, has contracted insurance software provider VIPR for its bordereaux management system, Intrali.

Intrali is a software solution for Cathedral’s delegated underwriting, which will allow it to assess bordereaux and fulfill reporting requirements from Lloyd’s.

As part of the contract, VIPR’s reporting package will be added at a later stage.

Cathedral has started to map its lead bordereaux data into the system and will soon undergo quality assurance checks prior to progressing with the reports build.

Lesley Townsend, company secretary at Cathedral, said: “We did our research and met with a select number of software companies. VIPR’s products not only met our needs but we were also thoroughly impressed with the demonstration provided by the chief executive officer (CEO) and chief technology officer, Bob and Paul. It is still early days, but we are already getting the data mapped into the Intrali system.”
