Charles Taylor Adjusting expands aviation offering with hire

Loss adjusting business Charles Taylor Adjusting (CTA) has bolstered its aviation capability by appointing Richard Jackson as resident aviation surveyor and adjuster in Dubai.

CTA said Jackson’s appointment further enhances its service offering in the region and continues its commitment to both the local and international insurance markets.

Jackson brings over 25 years’ aviation engineering and insurance experience to the firm. He joins CTA following three years with an international aviation adjuster. Previously, he worked as an aviation engineer with international airlines including Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Monarch Airlines. He has type approval on numerous Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

Jackson will be responsible for strengthening CTA’s aviation presence in the Middle East and surrounding areas. His expertise on the Boeing and Airbus fleet will be particularly valuable to CTA’s clients in the region, who are experiencing substantial growth in both narrow and wide body aircraft fleets.

“We are committed to providing clients with access to high levels of technical expertise, to handle their aviation claims wherever they occur in the world,” said Robert McParlin, managing director, CTA Aviation.

“There is no substitute to having experienced aircraft engineers involved when handling the complex aviation losses and Richard’s experience will prove invaluable. This new appointment further strengthens our international capability and follows the announcements on our expansion in London and Mexico last year.

“I am pleased to welcome him to our team and look forward to working with him.”
