CopperPoint appoints former PwC exec to CFO role
CopperPoint Insurance Companies, a provider of workers compensation coverage, has named Mark Joos as its new chief financial officer.
Joos most recently served as the senior vice president and CFO for GuideOne Insurance, where he oversaw capital management, managed rating agency relationships and executed strategic initiatives.
Joos began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the firm’s insurance industry practice.
"Mark brings a deep understanding of insurance industry corporate finance," said CopperPoint president and CEO Marc Schmittlein. "His expertise in insurance industry best practices, along with knowledge in setting financial priorities for anticipated growth will be a strong addition."
Joos added: "I’m happy to be part of a longstanding community-focused company. It’s an exciting time to be here, executing growth and operational initiatives."
