Crawford & Company, an independent provider of claims management solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities, has appointed Hilton Sturisky as global chief information officer (CIO).
Sturisky has over 18 years of experience in the information technology field, having most recently served as CIO of Spirit Airlines, a position he has held since 2014.
“In his most recent CIO position, Hilton helped transform a legacy IT environment into a modern technology ecosystem,” said Harsha Agadi, president and CEO of Crawford.
“He has successfully faced challenges and opportunities in his career that are similar to ours, including digital disruption, mobility and analytics.”
Prior to Spirit Airlines, he was global CIO at BCD Travel in Atlanta, and before that held roles at Coca-Cola, Pfizer and Harland Clarke.
Sturisky added: "I look forward to leading a renewed IT group that provides the platform to support operational excellence and strategic transformation for Crawford’s future success.”
