Cunningham Lindsey boosts business with acquisition

Cunningham Lindsey, a loss adjusting and claims management company, is set to acquireAndersen Environmental.

Andersen Environmental, an environmental and engineering due diligence, health and safety, and remediation consulting services firm in the Western US, will join the group as part of EFI Global, a provider of forensic engineering, fire investigation, environmental, and laboratory testing services.

Cunningham Lindsey said that the combined success of both companies will provide clients with strengthened environmental, engineering and catastrophe response resources and expertise serving the commercial real property and insurance markets, specifically along the West coast of the US.

Jane Tutoki, global chief executive officer (CEO) of Cunningham Lindsey, said: “I am delighted to welcome Andersen Environmental into the Cunningham Lindsey family. This acquisition demonstrates our commitment to grow our business so that we can help our clients manage their risk.

“There is an increasing demand for experts who understand the complexities of environmental risk and this acquisition will benefit our clients in the US and internationally.”

Ron Holt, CEO of EFI Global, added: “EFI Global is proud to bring on board the team from Andersen Environmental.  The resources of our organisations enable us to provide a full range of integrated services that help our clients assess risk and manage environmental challenges.

“This will enhance our ability to serve our clients with expanded capabilities and technical expertise along the West Coast, while also presenting employees of both companies with exciting opportunities.”

The union brings several key team members on board including Dennis Ironi, president of Andersen Environmental.  Ironi will join the company as a vice president.

“The Andersen Environmental team and I are thrilled to be joining EFI Global and the Cunningham Lindsey group of companies. We are looking forward to working with such a dynamic and innovative organisation,” said Ironi. “The strength of our company’s reputation, expertise, and geographic reach will enrich the service offerings and solutions we offer clients going forward.”
