DARAG reshuffles management
Run-off insurer DARAG has hired three senior executives amid a reshuffling of its management team.
Simon Minshall joins DARAG as the new group chief financial officer from Endurance, where he served as deputy chief financial officer for three years.
In addition, Tim Braasch joins as the group chief operating officer and James Wilson joins as chief actuary.
From 2003 to 2008, Braasch served as partner, senior executive manager and head of insurance industry at Steria Mummert Consulting.
Wilson previously served as senior manager and actuary at KPMG and brings more than 35 years of industry expertise to DARAG.
Arndt Gossman, the chief executive officer of DARAG, said: “Our new investor Keyhaven buying 100 percent of our shares has lifted our equity base to a whole new level. It allowed us to sign our first deal in the €100 million range last year and we will continue to grow in the coming months.
“The expertise we were able to add by winning Simon Minshall, Tim Braasch and James Wilson for our team will help us to deliver premium quality and premium services. Our clients will benefit from further growth in know-how, efficiency and innovation.”
