Drinker Biddle & Reath hires Sirius director

Law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath has appointed Michael Halsband as a member of the firm’s insurance transactional and regulatory ream.

Halsband, who will be based in the firm’s New York office, joins from Sirius Group where he was founding senior executive and president of the capital markets and insurance-linked securities (ILS) convergence initiative.

Prior to joining Sirius, Halsband was the director of capital markets and treasury solutions at Deutsche Bank.
