Ecclesiastical hires Legal & General exec
Specialist insurance group Ecclesiastical has appointed Nick Brierley as general insurance (GI) business and operations director within its group general insurance business operations.
He will report to deputy group chief executive and UK managing director Jacinta Whyte.
He will be responsible for consulting with and developing country specific general insurance strategies in conjunction with the relevant chief executive officers (CEO) in addition to the development of Ecclesiastical’s longer-term GI business strategy.
Brierley returns to Ecclesiastical, having left the company in 2012, from Legal & General where he most recently held the position of head of financial management and, prior to that, the role of head of strategy, planning and reporting.
