Endurance launches trade credit and surety unit

Bermuda-based reinsurer Endurance has launched a global trade credit and surety reinsurance business unit.

The unit will be led by Christoph Virchow, who joins Endurance as senior vice president and global head of trade credit and surety.

“Endurance is committed to expanding our product capabilities to better serve the specialty reinsurance market and we are extremely pleased to have Christoph join our reinsurance leadership team,” said David Cash, chief executive officer at Endurance.

“Christoph and his new colleagues are seasoned professionals with extensive expertise and a strong network of partnerships with brokers and cedants in the trade credit and surety reinsurance market.”
