Equinox appoints senior credit analyst

Lloyd’s trade credit coverholder, Equinox Global, has appointed John Joseph as a senior credit analyst. He will report to Simon Philpin and will be based in London.

Joseph will be responsible for reviewing insured’s buyers and their country and observing sector trends to support the company’s continued growth.

Joseph joins from RK Harrison where he was a credit analyst responsible for advising clients and markets on credit risks for buyers, as well as creating comprehensive risk analysis documents. Prior to this he held credit analyst roles within Atradius Credit Insurance and Euler Hermes, where he focused on providing buyers within the metals and the construction industry with market intelligence.

“We are seeing significant growth within Equinox as evidenced by the 43 percent increase in written premium we wrote in January compared to 2013. As we grow and to capitalise on our position within the market, it is important to attract talented individuals like John. The variety of his experience provides him with a nimble approach to credit insurance and this, coupled with his expertise, makes him ideally suited to Equinox,” said Mike Holley, chief executive officer of Equinox Global.
