Everest Re expands executive solutions group team

Bermuda-based Everest Re has made several new additions to its executive solutions group, a division of Everest Specialty Underwriters (ESU).

Keith Beach has been appointed as vice president (VP) and leader of the group, based in the company’s Chicago office.

He joins Everest from Zurich North America, where he served as senior vice president, head of the diversified financial group. Prior to Zurich, Beach held underwriting positions with Endurance Specialty Insurance in Bermuda, and Hartford Financial Products in New York.

Alan Lutz has been appointed VP and head of the West region of the executive solutions group, based in the New York City office.

Most recently, Lutz served as VP of the West region corporate directors and officers (D&O) group for Zurich North America, responsible for a portfolio of publicly traded companies within the management liability lines of business.

Additionally, Tom McArdle has been appointed VP and head of the central region of the group, based in the Chicago office.

McArdle joins from Axis, where he served, most recently, as senior vice president, financial institutions, and manager for the central region. Prior to joining Axis, he worked for AIG in New York.

Matthew Gallagher has been hired as director and head of the East region of the group, based in the New York City office.

Gallagher joins Everest Insurance from AIG, where he served as underwriting manager of the New York region within the executive liability division.

Nick Isler has been appointed director and head of private company, employment practices, and fiduciary product growth initiatives. Isler will also lead several key relationships for the East region.

He has more than ten years of experience, most recently at Arch Capital Group as assistant vice president of their executive assurance division. Isler is based in the company’s New York City office.

The division offers commercial management liability coverage for non-financial institutions on both a primary and excess basis.
