Former Lloyd’s exec Jewell joins Heritage

London-based Heritage Insurance Solutions has appointed David Jewell as chairman of the board.

Jewell has more than 50 years’ experience in the London insurance market with previous roles including Lloyd's active underwriter, Capita divisional director and as a director of various insurance companies and Lloyd’s Agencies.

Karl Bradley, Heritage Insurance managing director, said: “David is a highly regarded and experienced insurance specialist and his appointment as chairman to the HISL board serves to further enhance our senior team providing comprehensive broking services.
