Generali appoints Asia, America & EMEA leaders

Italian insurance group Generali has boosted its international management team with the appointments of three managers to lead Asia, the Americas and the EMEA region.

Jack Howell has been appointed the regional officer of Asia, responsible for Generali’s activities in ten Asian markets. Howell succeeds Sergio Di Caro, who has taken over as head of Generali Employee Benefits.

Antonio Cassio dos Santos joins the group as Americas regional officer, responsible for coordinating the activities of the six LatAm countries and the business in North America. He joins from Zurich Latin, where he held the position of chief executive officer (CEO) of general insurance.

Jaime Anchustegui, previously LatAm regional officer has been appointed EMEA regional officer, the area covering twelve markets between Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Anchustegui succeeds Giovanni Liverani who has been appointed as the CEO of Generali Deutschland.
