Global Aerospace COO steps down
The chief operating officer (COO) of aerospace insurer Global Aerospace has stepped down after 13 years.
Jeffrey Cassidy, who also serves as president, will step down in April. Cassidy will continue with the company on a part-time basis as director, space risk and executive advisor reporting to the new president.
Jeffrey Bruno will succeed him as president of Global Aerospace. Bruno will also continue in his role as chief underwriting officer, US.
“We are happy to be able to support Jeff Cassidy’s wishes to transition to a senior, part-time role with the company. We thank him for his valuable contributions over the years and we are pleased he will continue to be a part of Global Aerospace,” said Nick Brown, group chief executive officer of Global Aerospace Underwriting Managers.
“We are also very pleased that Jeff Bruno will be assuming the role of president. Jeff is a skilled executive who has served in a variety of roles during a long and distinguished career with Global Aerospace and its predecessor company, Associated Aviation Underwriters.
“In his new position, he will be supported by a first class senior management team and I have no doubt that the transition will be seamless.”
