Hamilton Insurance appoints former CEO of Aon Hewitt to board

Hamilton Insurance Group, the Bermuda-based holding company, has added the former CEO of Aon Hewitt to its board of directors.

Russell Fradin is now the lead independent director of Best Buy Company and an operating partner of private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier and Rice (CD&R).

Fradin joined CD&R in 2016 and served as its president and chief executive officer at SunGard Data Systems, a software and IT services provider, until the company’s acquisition by FIS in November 2015.

Prior to SunGard, Fradin served as chairman and chief executive officer of Aon Hewitt. During his employment, he managed the September 2010 merger between Aon Consulting and Hewitt Associates, having been chief executive officer of Hewitt since 2006.
