Speciality insurer Torus has announced the appointment of Tim Harris as group chief financial officer.
Harris will be based in the group’s London office and will report to Clive Tobin, the group’s chief executive.
“His deep experience across finance, treasury and capital markets will become increasingly important in the next phase of our strategic development,” said Tobin.
Harris joins Torus from Aviva plc, where he was deputy group chief financial officer and chief capital officer responsible for leading the group capital team with specific responsibility for managing capital.
