IGI lures AmTrust exec

International General Insurance (IGI) has appointed Simon Curtis as chief financial officer of its UK business.

Curtis joins from AmTrust at Lloyd’s where he served as interim head of finance. He has previously served at Ernst & Young, Atrium Underwriting, and Insurance Management Services.

“I am pleased to welcome Simon to the team and look forward to him playing an important role as our UK business continues to grow,” said Andreas Loucaides, chief executive officer of IGI UK.
