Insurance Thought Leadership appoints chief innovation officer

Insurance Thought Leadership (ITL), a global network of thought leaders and decision makers, has appointed Guy Fraker as chief innovation officer.

Fraker will lead the delivery of a new suite of innovation strategy workshops and leadership coaching programmes for insurance industry companies. ITL recently acquired Cre8tFutures.

"We’re delighted and fortunate to have Guy join our team and help expand the solutions we offer companies and executives seeking to gain a better understanding of—and competitive advantage from—the innovations that are transforming insurance," Dave Dias, chairman and founder of ITL, commented. "Guy joined ITL to work with industry incumbents seeking greater clarity related to their strategic vision, increased growth through innovation and certainly increased revenue and improved profitability."

Fraker added: "I am extremely excited about joining the ITL team. The ecosystem ITL is creating through Innovator's Edge is an ideal opportunity to apply the Cre8tfutures TM system for growth via innovation."

"For years, I have advised firms within the insurance industry on the exponential growth of break-through technologies influencing the risks managed by insurance. The past two years have seen an equally dramatic growth of startups—insuretechs—targeting the core traditional business model of insurance. Innovator’s Edge is leading the way for existing firms to participate in the opportunities from both disruptive innovations: the risks being managed and the way we manage them. It’s a tremendous opportunity for existing firms that choose innovation as one growth strategy."
