Integro boosts aviation expertise with acquisition

Broker Integro has strengthened its aviation expertise with the acquisition of AFL Insurance Brokers’ aviation division.

AFL’s aviation book consists of business in the UK, US, Norway and Denmark and the team is headed by director Eddy Dawson and senior broker Andrew Forester, who will remain in their leadership roles.

They will report to Terry Rolfe, head of Integro’s global aviation practice.

“We are delighted with the addition of Eddy Dawson and his colleagues to Integro’s impressive aviation team,” said John Sutton, president of international operations. “They bring a wealth of expertise, experience and relationships that will benefit Integro’s clients and prospects across the firm.”

Bob Finch, managing director of AFL, said: “We have a very positive relationship with Integro and this transaction fits perfectly with our strategy to focus on the dynamic growth of our core businesses.”
