Ironshore appoints Latin America manager
Ironshore has appointed Norbert Kruger as regional manager of surety for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Kruger will join the Latin America team, based in Miami, Florida, and also will be a member of Ironshore’s global surety team to help leverage Ironshore’s surety capabilities in Latin America.
His professional career spans more than 40 years’ experience in underwriting and broking surety lines within the US and in various Latin American countries.
Kruger has held leadership positions in a number of surety specialist entities, including regional underwriting manager international, for Seaboard Surety Company, and regional director of operations for Aon Risk Services.
He has served as vice president, international practice leader for Marsh and was vice president of surety for the National Insurance Company, based in Puerto Rico.
“Continued investments in infrastructure projects across Latin America require additional surety expertise and market capacity for complex risks,” explained Pepe Marquez, Ironshore general manager for Latin America and the Caribbean.
“The addition of Norbert to our Latin American team demonstrates Ironshore’s commitment to meeting the needs of clients, brokers and partners for this growing, important class of business within the region.”
