JLT hires Aon Risk Solutions exec

JLT Specialty Insurance Services, a US subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), has appointed Robert Benvenuto as executive vice president (EVP).

Benvenuto, who will be located in Chicago, will also serve as a member of the US executive committee. He will focus on driving JLT’s specialty sales efforts to further develop the JLT Specialty Midwest operations.

He joins from Aon Risk Solutions, where most recently he served as EVP for more than four years leading a number of the firm’s largest carrier relationships. Prior to that, he spent five years at Aon Global Accounts as producer and managing director.
