JLT poaches Aon exec for SVP role

JLT Specialty USA, subsidiary of re/insurance broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), has appointed Roger Madden as a senior vice president.

Madden will provide technical and broking expertise as an integral member of its industry specialty practices. He will be based in JLT’s Atlanta office.

Madden joins the firm from Aon, where he served as a senior commercial insurance broker, focusing on middle-market casualty and property placements for accounts up to $2 million in expected losses.

JLT said Madden will play a pivotal role in its mission to offer the most innovative tailored solutions for specialty clients.

“Roger brings a wealth of experience in marketing core property and casualty specialty businesses, ranging from the real estate to entertainment and hospitality industries,” said Jim Pierce, chairman of JLT Specialty USA.

“He is a great addition to our firm.”
