JLT poaches Guy Carp exec as global head of strategic advisory

JLT Re has appointed Mark Shumway, the managing director and head of strategic advisory for the Asia-Pacific region at Guy Carpenter, as global head of strategic advisory.

Based in JLT Re’s Philadelphia office, Schumway will report to David Flandro, global head of analytics at JLT Re. He will join the company as soon as he has completed his contractual obligations with Guy Carpenter.

Before Guy Carpenter, Schumway worked as an analyst at AM Best and, prior to that, worked as a consultant at KPMG.
