JLT Re appoints COO

Reinsurance broker JLT Re has appointed Craig Brokenshire as global chief operating officer (COO).

Brokenshire, who previously served was previously COO of JLT Re's Asia Pacific region, will report to Mike Reynolds, global chief executive officer of JLT Re. He joined JLT Re Australia as a director in 2011.

Prior to this, he served as COO at Aon Broking and Asia-Pacific facultative COO at Aon Benfield, both in Singapore.

He will continue to be located in Singapore in the short term with a plan to move to London later this year.

Reynolds said: ”Craig has played a key role in our ongoing growth and expansion in the Asia Pacific region whilst also working on a number of important group wide initiatives and projects. His single-mindedness and proactive drive mean he is an excellent choice for this role. I am delighted he will now become global COO and look forward to building on our great working relationship.
