JLT Specialty boosts transaction advisory practice

JLT Specialty Insurance Services, a US subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), has appointed Andrew Pelzer as vice president.

Pelzer will be based in New York where he will be an integral part of the transaction advisory practice at JLT Specialty.

He will manage the structure and placement of tax insurance products and solutions for both corporate and private equity clients.

Pelzer joins from law firm Weil, Gotshal and Manges, where he served as a tax associate for more than four years, advising clients on more than 100 separate mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions in a range of industries including technology, real estate, healthcare and insurance.
